There are plenty of “getting around options”, while staying in London, despite the fact that navigating around such a big city can often get confusing, London offering its visitors and residents a comprehensive public transportation service. You can choose to explore the city in a traditional Black Cab or a taxi, see the surroundings by cruising on a boat, along the river, drive, or even walk or ride the bike if your target destination within the city is not located far from the hotel.

You can also find your way around by riding the bus. Perhaps, the most useful bus routes for London tourists are D3, D6, D7 and D8, most of which start and end at Docklands Light Railway Station, mostly traveling around the London Docklands area.

Other useful bus routes in London for travellers are: 135, which starts at Old Street Station and ends at Crossharbour (operated by Arriva London), 277, which starts at Highbury & Islington and ends at Leamouth, with stops at Dalston, Hackney Central, Mile End & Canary Wharf, running approximately every 7 to 30 minutes, and N550, which is a night bus route that travels 11 miles and runs about every 30 minutes, starting at at Canning Town and ending at Trafalgar Square.

There is also a complex network of suburban rail services available in London, most of which run in the southern suburbs.

Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is also a great choice when it comes to getting around in London, however, it runs only in the east area of the city.
